Lead Free Future Act

The toxic legacy of lead still impacts over half a million American children the age of six every year – causing irreversible damage and robbing them from reaching their full potential. Exposure occurs through exposures from air, drinking water, food, contaminated soil, and deteriorating paint. An estimated 1.1 million housing units are among the most at risk for causing childhood lead poisoning across the US.
