Shawana Ramirez is Green & Healthy Homes Initiative (GHHI)’s Family Advocacy Services Program Assistant. In this role, she assists clients who have been exposed to lead poison and that are living in unhealthy housing conditions due to active lead in their home, she proves support in completing lead applications and collecting documents for Baltimore City’s Lead Abatement program.
Prior to joining GHHI, Mrs. Ramirez worked as a Case Coordinator for Baltimore City’s Rehabilitation program where she provided support to clients that needed vocational rehabilitation services in their homes. She also previously served as a Bilingual Prenatal Coordinator and Neighborhood Health Advocate for Baltimore Healthy Start where she facilitated CenteringPregnancy groups and provided important Health Care information for pregnant woman and infants.
Mrs. Ramirez is a certified Community Health Worker and a certified EPA Lead Renovator.Back to our people
