Program Manager - Detroit
Ashley is a proud social worker, graduating with her Master’s from the University of Michigan. A Michigan native, she calls Detroit home and is dedicated to improving the health and quality of Detroit’s housing. Prior to working with GHHI, she worked in childhood lead poisoning with the city and state health departments before being asked to lead a mayor’s initiative for COVID-19 response in Detroit. She is passionate about combining direct practice with policy advocacy to see sustainable change in communities.
In her spare time, Ashley enjoys spending time with her two kitties, Teddy and Lady, as well as taking long distance backpacking trips with her husband. The two recently completed the entire Appalachian Trail, hiking 2,194 miles from Georgia to Maine.Back to our people
