
Alexia Jones
Community Outreach Organizer
Alexia Jones is GHHI’s Community Educator and Organizer for the D.C. Metropolitan area where she leads the organization in bringing awareness to residents and community stakeholders to improve health hazards in disadvantaged communities.
Alexia Jones has worked as a workforce development specialist and in the human service field for over 10 years focusing on improving the economy by providing employment and educational opportunities. She has strategically pitched to businesses to implement workforce solutions and services such as outreach and marketing strategies for local and regional employers in the metropolitan area. Over the years Alexia has developed a passion for making sure low-income residents have a sustainable wage and stable housing to decrease crime and increase positive social outcomes. Alexia previously served as a Business Service Manager on a state level where she developed a solution-focused approach to creating better opportunities and outcomes in urban neighborhoods.
In Alexia’s downtime, she enjoys trying new recipes, watching music documentaries, and exploring new places in the DMV.
